This is the best job I have ever had! I feel very blessed to work at Tea and Toast because now I get to live vicariously through my clients and help them as I would help my own mom.
Several years ago now, Jean’s friend suggested a desperate need for someone to help seniors in need of retirement living because the process was so confusing and overwhelming. Jean went looking for this type of service and found Amy and Tea & Toast…it was a match made in heaven!
That was the fall of 2017 and Jean has not looked back since. Jean’s own mother suffered from dementia and she always says she was so blessed to spend the last 4 years of her moms life helping her on a daily basis. Jean’s mom passed away in February of 2018 and she was so incredibly proud of the help Jean was offering to seniors (Jean’s mother was instrumental in the fundraising for the creation of the Osgoode Care Centre Long Term Care Home).
Jean has advocated for seniors in various ways for many years, including following in her mother’s footsteps and being an active member of the fundraising team for that same Long Term Care home.
Jean's priority with Tea & Toast is to build a bond of trust by listening carefully to the needs of her clients.
Jean is married with 2 children and now spends much of her spare time with her granddaughter.
Jean enjoys Tea and Toast for breakfast most mornings - exclaiming she “lives the brand” daily!
