Understanding and searching for long-term care can be difficult, not to mention emotional.

We can help.

Tea and Toast advisors will work with you to navigate the long-term care industry—
and find a home that best fits your (or your loved one’s) needs.

First, what is a Long-Term Care (LTC) home?

Also known as “homes for the aged” or “nursing homes,” LTC homes are subsidized residential homes that typically provide higher levels of personal care and support than what may be provided in a retirement home. These types of homes are for people who cannot live independently, and who need 24-hour nursing care and supervision within a secure setting.

In Ontario, all admissions to long-term care homes are coordinated through the Champlain Local Health Integration Network (LHIN). Learn more about LHIN services here.
